Coupon holder
So I've finally figured out what to do with my frog and flower I made a few posts back. A coupon holder. It's not the best my first pocket area an the last pocket area both don't want to open as far as the others but all in all I'm very happy with what I did.
This is the back where I put the word COUPON.
This is the inside. Now since I don't have a regular whole puncher, well I used an ice pick to pop a hold into a scallop circle, and then I pushed my ribbon through. It does seem to offer more stability.
This it the front while closed as you can see I added my frog and flower I made recently. I think the background I used is really cute its flowers an Lilly pads. and I used a sheer pink ribbon to go around.

A Flower, Card and more !!
Well I have been busy as a bee today here is what I've been up to.
This is a cute flower I did I really love the detail that I did on the leaves. I used a round scallop punch then put the circle back through the punch in sections to get the petals for the flower an the leaves I just drew..
Here is my attempt at yet another card. I seen this bow on several websites so I just made one smaller it was harder then I thought but it does look good enough. The seasons greeting stamps I got two Christmas stamps in a bag of kids toys for a nickle at the local resale shop. So I got two stamps and my kids got some toys to play in the yard with.
This is what the other stamp was, and I stamped it on the card itself. I couldn't get a very clear photo so I'm sooo sorry.
Here is a cute little strawberry i cant get the leaves to lay right so i guess I'm doing to the ribbon wrong. Ive seen the pattern for this strawberry on a dozen sites so I'm not sure who to credit for it.
This basket was tooo cute I had alot of trouble getting it together but it still turned out wonderful I'm definitely going to make more of these for gifts. To make your own basket visit

What I've been doin.
I know the last few days I haven't posted much, Besides the card that I did for a blog candy. So I guess I should tell you why.
I had one of them weekends where everything was OK but nothing went smooth lol. Recovering from the flu. And I was working on a new project.
I've been working on this project since last Friday the problem is this evening I decided I've hit a snag in the project. I will not give up on it because when I get it done I think ALOT of people will LOVE IT!!!!!
But I do think I will put it on the back burner for now and work on something small and cute. I find that most of the things I want to make I can't, well until I start to get more tools.
So until next time Happy Stamping

This is the card that I made for the blog. This is the first card I attempted to make on my own and I feel I've messed it up dearly.I think I just had to many ideas going in my head an made the card look to busy.
I used my small circle scallop punch, and my cardstock an designer paper. I love all the colors and was trying to get them all in. And I love the flower I also made to cute.

Frogiffic Day
I loved this project that I did today.. I collect frogs an turtles so when I seen this on Dawn5377's youtube videos I had to make it. Only problem is I don't have any Stampin Up punches yet so I had to get out the compass an get to work.
The first one here I did with all white card stock. I used green watercolor pencil and black watercolor pencil along with some water and a paint brush. I thought it was really cute.....
Then I remembered DUH I had some light green card stock lol. So I did a second one along with some green petal ink around the edges. Thou I did still use white card stock with the black watercolor pencil for the eyes but I thought this one was so much better...
Here they are side by side. The one on the left is the one done in light pastel green card stock an the one on the right is the one done in all white card stock. I also think I made the oval an circles look a little better in the one on the left...
So now I just have to come up with a cute card or bag to stick these cuties on this was a hopping good time for sure.
Until next time Happy Stamping

Christmas Ornament
OK today I will be doing two posts. So here we go.
At 2:00 a.m. this morning (duh wasn't afternoon or evening gigglgiggle). I finished this cute Christmas ornament. I don't remember the name of the site I got it from so Im very sorry. When I find it again I will post credit where it is due.
On my very first post I showed some scrapbook paper that I bought at the Dollar tree. I had gotten one red set and one blue set. When I went to make this I started to open the red set when something slid loose. Turned out I got two red sets an two blue sets but only paid for one red and one blue. Apparently static caused two packages to stick together so luck I guess. I called the Dollar tree and told them and they told me it was my lucky day and not to worry about it, How sweet.
Anyways onto the ornament. It appears that all my paper is one sides so I had to do it in printed on one side an white on the other.
Also It appears I was suppose to lay the smaller cones on top of the larger ones but instead I layed them between But I like it this way.
And Instead of putting a circle in the middle I used the Gemagic to stick a cute silver an clear deal in the middle. Im glad it worked for this project because the using the Gemagic on flat paper makes the paper wrinkle an rip :(. So I really need to get some Brads.
Well that is about all for this post I need to start on the next one

OMG I did it!!!!!
OK I really did believe that I would never make any sorta pattern myself. But today I was thinking with Halloween coming up I wanted to make a cute candy holder. I seen on Splitcoaststampers a couple cute coffins. But I didn't want anything that big also I wanted something that I could have a lid to completely close secure so there would be no candy spilling out. So I sat down with paper an ruler and a pencil and I drew an cut an figured an this is what I made.....It's about 4 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide at the thickest part and around 1/2 inch thick. I had no idea what to put on the lid, I don't have any Halloween stamps or cut outs of any sort so maybe one day when I get them I'll do something to fix it up....

Till next time Happy Stamping.

Shoe.
Here is a pattern I found for a really cute shoe. For the life of me I couldn't get the shoe to lay down even. I used my white card stock along with the forget me not blue floral pigment ink and some scotch glue. I was going to trim it with some baby blue ribbon but it was to thin to lay it on the crease. So today I will try an come up with something to make the shoe pop an look all pretty. When or if I ever figure out how to decorate the shoe I will post the picture.
You can find the template for the shoe at this site..... http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/ellen_hutson_simple_dream/2007/08/witches-shoe-te.html

Coffee Cup.
Hello again. I've put up a few pictures of the cutest Coffee Cup pattern I seen on Lorri's Website http://stampingaddict.blogspot.com/
She has the cutest ideas an projects over there. Awhile back I came across her blog and this is what caused the sudden urge an addiction to stamp an create. Thou I could never come up with anything near as nice as half the stampers out there I will very much enjoy making some of the patterns they list.
You need to go over to Lorri's site to see her Coffee Cup mine is horrible I don't know any of the basic techniques that people seem to be able to do. Sorry Lorri that I made the coffee cup look so sadddd.....
I used:
White card stock printer paper.
A butterfly stamp (Normally used for painting on walls)
A flower an stem stamp (Again used for painting on walls)
Scotch scrapbooker's glue to hold it together
Martha Stewart Floral pigment ink pads:
Pink Geranium (I used that to make the white paper pink)
Stem green and Red chrysanthemum for the flower
and
Lilac for the butterfly
I really did try and I think its pretty cute for the first time. Thou I'm going to do alot of research to find out how to make my cup look more real.
Till next time Happy Stamping

Kara

Hello!
This is my first post. And I'm not much in the way of blogging. But I'm going to give it a good try anyways.
This first post will be pretty long so sorry ahead of time, Also please try not to get to aggravated with me my spelling and structure is not very good.
I want to show off some of my new stamping items I bought and maybe even show a few tips for stampers that may be working on a limited budget so lets get started.
This was my first project I made today, It's a pretty snowflake, It's not my pattern I can't remember who's it is but I found it on Splitcoaststampers website.
This is the inside of my stamping case. which was the most expensive thing I bought.
This is the other inside part to my case. You can see I got some shredded paper to put inside bags and cups. Also the pocket next to that is some of parts to a Gemagic its like a bedazzle. I couldn't find Brads besides the big awkward gold ones so I bought the Gemagic to give it a try.
Here is my glues and taps an the big gold brads I was just talking about.. The stapler I got from the dollar tree for a dollar and it came with a package of staples

I bought some markers to try an use on the stamps, Thou I found it bleeds a lot so I guess that idea wasn't the best.but they was on sale for 50 cents so I couldn't pass it up. Also got some pretty glitter and ribbon I got lucky with the ribbon it was 47 cents a roll WoooHooo.
All these stamps was bought at the dollar tree. The wooden ones where 4 for $1.00. The black ones was all on one sheet I cut them apart they are normally used with paint but found I could use them with ink. The cute rounds ones where 2 for $1.00 they are rolling stamps they have hearts an kittens an smiling faces and more each round stamp had 3 patterns to it.

To the left of the stamps is a package of Ink called Petal ink that was bought at walmart for around $7.00 It has multi colors in the package.
To the top left is a scalloped hole puncher its a small one I got it from walmart. The big crimpers where for $1.00 at the dollar tree store, they crimp Teddy bears,Hearts,Flowers and Stars.
The scissors also from the Dollar Tree and the orange lady bug is a hole puncher the blue apple is an embosser both from Dollar Tree.
I wasn't able to find a bone folder so the brown thing you see there is a cuticle pusher that I had in a manicure set, I found it does great for scoring and crisp folds, before that I was using the handle cut off an old tooth brush. The compass an protractor and ruler came in a set for 50 cents and I already owned the orange scissors and I bought the blue ones from walmart. They are not the best but do well.

This is paper I got from Dollar Tree its 6 sheets and so pretty.
This is the other package of Dollar Tree paper isn't it cute?

This is paper I got from Dollar Tree its 6 sheets and so pretty.
This is my cutter, it was the second most expensive item I bought from my starting kit
Finding stuff on sale, Clarence items and Dollar tree store I was able to get all this for under $100.00 not to bad. But I can't wait to save up the money and join Stampin up one day.
Also Can't wait to get ahold of a few more (Ok a lot more) cool stuff.
Well I will end this post its already pretty long hope you enjoyed and As I get more stuff and make some of the cute things I find patterns for i will post it here for all to see.
Till next time Happy Stamping
Hugs,Kara
