I know it's been some time since I last posted. I'm alive and I'm fine. First my camera started to act up real bad uuggghhh. Then I lost the charger for my batteries.
Then to top everything off I had to go Christmas shopping it decided to ice that day. So we loaded up and drove really slow. I then bought a portable DVD player and stuff for the kids and we drove home (well slid home) real slow. Only to find out guess what NO DVD PLAYER IN THE BOX.
The following day we went to head back to the store and the van starts to shake out of control the tire was about to break off DOH!!!!
Get back home get the other tire stuck it on let the van down off the jack an SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it has a hole (bangs head)
well we had to wait one more day. Yes we got the DVD player finally the following day after buying two new tires.
I've made alot of projects for Christmas but with out the battery charger I was unable to take photo's before I had to send them off :(
But I did order a 160 piece stamp set for 5 dollars WOOHOOOO should be here in a couple weeks I cant wait.

Box top
Sorry about the photo quality. I'm not real sure what is wrong with my camera but today this was as clear as I could get it. Seems like it has a fog over it. Anyways I made a gift box from SCS site and since I only own two Christmas stamps I added one at the top left and another at the bottom right. But I decided I had all these ribbon birds now filling my drawer and instead of a bow I decided this would look real cute and here it is.

Super Tiny Flock
I really tried to push the limit on the ribbon birds I made these two super tiny. I don't think I can get any smaller thou I'm still going to try. The purple ribbon bird is actually smaller then the gold, green an red on there. The body is about half the size thou its hard to tell in the photo. I did have to use to pairs of pointed tweezers to weave the ribbon together lol.

The Flock
I went crazy last night with the little ribbon birds lol. This is my flock. I made two of them half the size of the originals the two in the front are the tiny birds. I also thought about how i could hang these cuties on the tree and decided I'm going to take some floral wire bend it in half an stick in thru the bottom of the body and make legs that will grasp to the tree branches.

Ribbon Bird
I haven't messed much with any of the ribbon I have. Besides using it as a hanger for the ornaments and a few times to accent a card. But I seen this bird made of ribbon here http://icandream.com/crafts/a/ribbon/bird/index.shtml
I love it I absolutely love this craft. Its very easy to make and the results are wonderful. I'm going to try the next bird using cloth ribbon (See Juliana I'm going to finally use the ribbon I won lol) and see how that turns out. *Edit note* Trying this on cloth ribbon did NOT turn out for me. The ribbon would fray really bad and the tail broke when I attempted a tiny curving curl lol

Sonobe Ornament.
OK all. I seen the tutorial for this ornament over on Splitcoaststampers and decided it was to cute to pass up. I got out my paper, ribbons and cutter with the tutorial up and started. This would of been about 8:00 AM. finally around 10:00 PM I got it put together. I did find the directions to be VERY vague and confusing. Not her fault I searched the Internet and found around 12 sites all with confusing directions. The only reason I finally got it put together was pure luck, but now I see how to do it I'm considering putting up my own tutorial to make this wonderful ornament showing the steps closer that was to hard to understand in all of the other tutorials so keep an eye out for it if you want to make one of these too.
I will say that I really like this ornament.

Christmas!! (Long post)
So I told you after I started to feel better I was going to go crazy and here I went .
This first one here is the pine cone ball ornament from http://inkspirations.blogspot.com/search/label/Christmas
This is just two squares put together into a diamond shape and stamped with the only two Christmas stamps I own lol.

Here is these star book ornaments that I made I got the tutorial off of http://inkspirations.blogspot.com/search/label/Christmas Its a wonderful site with some great stuff.
Here is the star book ornaments closed you can hang them either way.
This was my attempt at the tag punch flowers. Again as before I don't have these punches so I had to draw up my own and try my best.

Here is another tag punch flower I seen the video tutorial on dawn5377's youtube videos.

I don't remember where I seen this tutorial but its for a 3D Christmas tree for the front of a card. I decided this one was going to hang on the tree this year.

I don't exactly what this is suppose to be, But I can tell you when I was unfolding it to make the circle for the life of me it wouldn't match up in size so I was reduced to try an trim it with scissors finally I just stopped and said OK it looks fine now.

This is my FAVORITE one. Kusudama ball. I suggest everyone making this. It did take me a long time to fold all the pieces required to make it. And a lot of glue but this darling ornament is VERY STURDY. As you hold it you can feel the weight an sturdiness of it. I want to make many more but it does take a longgg time to make. After folding up this one my hand started to ache A A LOT. But it was worth it.

These are Finnish stars. I love how they turned out.

This tree is made from one of the modules of the Kusudama ball up there ^. While making the ball I noticed one of them laying with the wide end down and thought that looks just like a Christmas tree and then this tree was born.

I hope you enjoyed my post. I had said before this year I'm working on making my entire tree nothing more then paper items.

Stamping OoPs
So I guess a lot of times us Stampers tend to oops up here and there. This is some examples in my case. The picture on the left was a Christmas Ornament ball. It was made with flower origami design then glued together to form a ball. Caution to the wise these are VERY Fragile lol. This is what happens when a 12 year old accidental puts pressure onto it. On the right is first an corner bookmark I had attempted to make look like Christmas using glitter glue to form Icicles. Well that really turned out to look more like glitter boogers. And the frog card, This was originally made for a 7 year old boy that attends my children's church group. This was a disaster from the start. I had to do his poor toes 3 times I kept loosing one, or they would bend up. Then I tried to write Hoppy Birthday really cute but because the blue part is glued onto the green it looked weird. I got the bright idea to go over it with Black permanent marker. Well now it smells like marker to much, plus you can see the original black pen writing under it. I had a nice little ribbon to on there with a back cover but for some reason when I picked up the card it stayed glued to the table LOL. I failed

Bookworm Bookmark
Well it has been awhile since I last posted anything. I'm right handed and awhile back I had broken my right hand pinkie finger in one spot and my hand in three places which made it very hard to do anything.
I've been feeling much better the last few days so I decided I'm trying a project.
I have seen a lot of the large paperclips made into bookmarks. And I wanted to try one. This is what I came up with.
How cute. I made a girl Caterpillar (bookworm) I added pink paperclip glasses and purple ribbon on her antenna's. I wasn't going to add the orange hair on her but I used craft tacky glue to hold the glasses on which stuck my finger to her face. This left a icky looking smudge so i used orange marker to make curly little hair on her to cover it lol.
It's also very hard to tell but between her antenna's I made a bite mark out of one of the leaves. I held her to the leaves with two pop up dots. Not real sure if it will hold together so I will pray that it does lol.
What do you think??
Well I'm going to post this now and work on some Christmas Ornaments I have a lot of catching up to do lol.
Until next time happy stamping

Huh??? Nothing to do with Stamping..
Not sure if its just me but today I noticed on to separate packages something funny.
Here is the bag of pistachios that has Allergen Alert: Contains Pistachios DOH!! Thanks for giving me the heads up on that Wal-mart I wasn't 100% sure my Pistachios contained well Pistachios lol.
So this morning I hit the resale shop looking for anything I can find for stamping. When I looked down an noticed a Humidifier/ Air Freshener lamp. This was the writing on the package and I had to buy it so I could post this. Can you find all the things that are wrong in these paragraphs? LOL.
I have to admit I'm now veryyyyy scared to use this lamp thing lol.

Halloween
I decided to make Halloween baskets for the girls who work in the office at my husbands job. There are three girls so I wanted to make sure they each got one Frankenstein, one pumpkin and one candy corn item in there baskets.
This is a small tiny sour cream container that I made them this is really small. It fit exactly two candy corns lol.
This is a tiny nugget purse and I made one of the shoes extra small also. The tiny Frankenstein card was HARDDD to make but it turned out so cute.
another nugget purse an tiny shoe. The pumpkin wasn't as hard to make as I thought.
Here is a Frankie card I made I got the directions to do it from Dawn5377 youtube site.
Here is the Pumpkin card I made.
Here is the Candy corn card I made, I used glitter on the yellow and white but the white doesn't show up well in the photo :(. I got this idea from Lorri on her blog.
Here is the Pumpkin nugget purse.
And finally the Frankie tiny shoe again he was hard to make so small, but it was worth the result in the end.
I sure hope they enjoy the candy baskets when I take them in. I also put spearmint candy in the baskets an Candy Corn Taffy candy.

Ornaments, Flowers and more.
Today was a busy day in stamping world for me. I started out by making this cute little Christmas ornament. Think I will fill my tree this year with all paper ornaments.
Today for the kids we made these cute little spider tootsie pops. They loved making them. From left to right was made by Me, Desseray, Destiny, Rodney and Randy.(My children)
Today I made this white rose for my romantic dinner that Tommy made for me. This one sat on the table.
This as the corsage that I made to wear to the romantic dinner.
This is the Rose that I made an pinned on Tommy's shirt. How cute.
I made this card a few days ago. I love how it turned out one of the best cards Ive done yet.

I really enjoyed my romantic dinner. Tom set up a table outside on the deck. He grilled T-Bone steaks, with mash potatoes and shrimp. Along with a bottle of cherry wine. He even had two smoke maple candles burning and soft jazz music playing. It was really nice and the kids actually behaved an left us alone so I could pretend I was in Paris LOL.

OMG I WON AGAIN!!! (not stamping related)
OK apparently good luck has latched onto me. Our local news station http://www.kfor.com/ runs a new morning show called Rise & Shine Oklahoma with David Payne and Lance West.
This morning I was looking for paper project when I heard them ask what "COXSWAIN" meant and the first person to email the answer would win VIP tickets.
OK first off I never do win, I did win a Blog card candy this week and I was over joyed. I decided I won't win this so I might as well enter anyways.
Second I had no idea at the time what the VIP tickets was for.
So I looked up Coxswain then emailed them the answer. I get an email back asking for my phone number so they can contact me OK?? So I emailed them my phone number an 10 minutes later my phone rings its the people from OK43 Rise & Shine Oklahoma to inform me that out of 200 emails I was the first person and the Grand Prize winner of the two VIP tickets to the Blu VIP party at the Regatta festival a $200.00 value.
I get free tickets for two, free drinks, free food an rub elbows with the big wigs.
I'm still in disbelief. They called to tell me that I won an that I was going live on air with David Payne and Lance West.
It was so awesome I woke all the kids up screaming lol and I was shaking so hard by time it was my turn on air lol.
I did it thou and the kids said I didn't say anything that embarrassed them I'm sooo glad.
Wish I could of heard myself thou gigglgiggle
Anyways I'm still in shock can't believe that I won something that big.

Coupon holder
So I've finally figured out what to do with my frog and flower I made a few posts back. A coupon holder. It's not the best my first pocket area an the last pocket area both don't want to open as far as the others but all in all I'm very happy with what I did.
This is the back where I put the word COUPON.
This is the inside. Now since I don't have a regular whole puncher, well I used an ice pick to pop a hold into a scallop circle, and then I pushed my ribbon through. It does seem to offer more stability.
This it the front while closed as you can see I added my frog and flower I made recently. I think the background I used is really cute its flowers an Lilly pads. and I used a sheer pink ribbon to go around.

A Flower, Card and more !!
Well I have been busy as a bee today here is what I've been up to.
This is a cute flower I did I really love the detail that I did on the leaves. I used a round scallop punch then put the circle back through the punch in sections to get the petals for the flower an the leaves I just drew..
Here is my attempt at yet another card. I seen this bow on several websites so I just made one smaller it was harder then I thought but it does look good enough. The seasons greeting stamps I got two Christmas stamps in a bag of kids toys for a nickle at the local resale shop. So I got two stamps and my kids got some toys to play in the yard with.
This is what the other stamp was, and I stamped it on the card itself. I couldn't get a very clear photo so I'm sooo sorry.
Here is a cute little strawberry i cant get the leaves to lay right so i guess I'm doing to the ribbon wrong. Ive seen the pattern for this strawberry on a dozen sites so I'm not sure who to credit for it.
This basket was tooo cute I had alot of trouble getting it together but it still turned out wonderful I'm definitely going to make more of these for gifts. To make your own basket visit

What I've been doin.
I know the last few days I haven't posted much, Besides the card that I did for a blog candy. So I guess I should tell you why.
I had one of them weekends where everything was OK but nothing went smooth lol. Recovering from the flu. And I was working on a new project.
I've been working on this project since last Friday the problem is this evening I decided I've hit a snag in the project. I will not give up on it because when I get it done I think ALOT of people will LOVE IT!!!!!
But I do think I will put it on the back burner for now and work on something small and cute. I find that most of the things I want to make I can't, well until I start to get more tools.
So until next time Happy Stamping
